ColSci Journal Club 2013 - 2015
Kate started this journal club because of what seemed to be a clearly definable set of interactions on twitter (via #ColSci) between like-minded folks with an interest in colour and colour vision. We met on google hangouts to discuss a paper related to colour in biology. Kate has teamed up with other ECRs that have recently secured continuing positions to for mutual support and trouble shooting when developing one's lab.

Kate is the current Secretary for ASSAB. Upon taking on this role Kate isinvolved in furthering ASSAB's community outreach and maintaining the society's high standing in animal behaviour research. Kate was the website manager for ASSAB from 2008 - 2012.
